David LaChapelle was at the TASCHEN bookstore in Beverly Hills last night. It started at 6 pm and ended at 9:30 pm... A long line of fans and friends got their books signed, their IDs and even their credit cards!

I got my copy signed by the man...of course dedicated to me!!  He's really nice and friendly in person (a little drunk) and was impressed that I went to Carnegie and that I'm a member of the SOCIETY...You know when you meet celebs...sometimes you think why the hell did I like them in the first place?  Well with David...I like him even more NOW...he's crazy and I appreciate that....plus he is left handed (like me)!!!

They have ice skating in Los Angeles?

Ice-skating is something that has always kind of terrified me. I like my face and after thirty years of keeping it in tact I would like to keep it that way. Now, as a kid I was the opposite of athletic. I would rather sit in my parent’s basement and paint a picture than ride a bicycle, which I have never learned to do by the way. I was the kid playing video games the entire time at the rolling skating rink. Needless to say I had never ice skated before.

I have the pleasure to know one of Los Angeles's top celebrity stylists Jessica Paster. Its a Sunday, Megan and I  arrive at Jessica's house to be met with champagne and a dance party going on in her driveway. Meg mentions ice Skating and Jessica immediately bites. Next thing you know we ride downtown in Jessica's car to the tune of George Michael's "Last Christmas"  on repeat. We get to the rink and its packed with skaters and many under fifteen years old. At first I had my doubts but come on I am a grown man; I can at least try and surprisingly I did well. I never even fell. Jessica took two laps and was bored. Meg and I took a few extra laps decided to come back when it wasn’t so crowded. So there’s another thing to cross off my list of things to do before I die.  What’s next? Swimming with sharks? Skydiving? Bungee Jumping? Space flight? Riding a bicycle? Stay tuned kids…

Fear and Clothing in Los Angeles

Sunday afternoon. Jessica, Megan ,and I scouted a ware  house location  owned by Jim Fittipaldi. A three story cavernous place where art and ideas are fostered.  All that scouting made us hungry.  Dinner time. Jessica loves Mexican food so I suggested  Malo on Sunset. My friend Matt is the manager but wasn't there ,which might have been a good thing... Now my buddy Marshall decides to join us and I knew with Marshall and Jessica at the same table mayhem would ensue.  You see,Marshall is known to go on the very occasional binge and until last night he by far held the title of most outrageous restaurant behavior. Meg , my cousin Marc, and I had met Marshall one night at cliffs edge in silver lake . We arrived to find Marshall already through a bottle of champagne. He had ordered the couple at the table next to us french fries to make up for calling them "so middle class" and "valley dwellers." Clearly, he hadn't slept in a few days. He took a disliking to the waiter after he was offended by Marshall calling him a "dirty Canadian wanna be actor who couldn't book a job." The waiter clearly didn't find this funny so Marshall "dismissed" him.  Meg was mortified, Marc was puzzled, I laughed but it was a bit embarrassing. Marshall went on, and on .Soon the owner appeared and basically babysat us the entire time. He did give me a great tip to go visit his friend at the hatch 10 showroom and I did. It was a good connection. So Marshall was the staffs favorite customer that night at cliffs edge and at the end the waiter slammed the heavy metal door in Marshall's face as we exited. Now back to Malo. Its always apparent to me that the waiters in silver lake would much rather be posing in front of a mirror or at home  choosing what headband to wear to the party that night. That said this waiter was definitely that type. Jessica ordered enchiladas and when the waiter asked her if she wanted enchilada sauce she retorted somewhat snidely in the classic Jessica sense that "there are three types of enchilada sauce." He wasn't happy.   Throughout the meal Jessica told a charming tale about a girl who stole money from her for drugs. A few months later Jessica cornered that girl in a bathroom,smashed the girls nose on the wall, then proceeded to scratch her own face up shouting"I cant believe you hit me first!" Marshall who when sober is a very charming ,witty, quiet type was definitely taken back but intrigued. We finish the meal and Marshall asks for an extra napkin. Five minutes goes by  and he asks again only to have about twenty  thrown  down in front  of him.  Jessica asks for the manager and when she appears I explain to her  that I know Matt very well. Jessica  takes over to explain that the waiter is a "cocksucker,"   "that she was a server for seven years, "and if he doesn't want to be a waiter he shouldn't.  Jessica goes on about how Marshall is a "kind man, a gentle man (also see above) who just wanted to wipe enchilada sauce off his face". She then proceed to take fifteen dollars out of her purse. His tip. "Here is fifteen dollars, that cocksuckers tip! "I'm gonna rip it up ,I'm gonna set it on fire, that asshole!" She then passionately rips the money up into tiny shreds and Marshall ,the law student ,comments that that is actually illegal. Jessica makes a nice little pile and draws two arrows pointing to it on the table with the words "thanks for the service cocksucker" The manager apologizes and goes for the bill. As she leaves the table Marshall hands her the napkin pile and adds, "please don't let these poor trees die in vain."  I was hysterical laughing and amazed. I didn't think it was possible to top Marshall's performance at cliffs edge and here he was; topped! The bill comes and its comp'd. I think the moral of the story is if you want to get hook ups with good show rooms and free dinners, you sometimes have to act a bit sideways to get the point across. It sure works for my friends. Thanks Marshall and Jessica. You guys free next Sunday?  VW

The Answer

ALLEN IVERSON IS GETTING TRADED!  I still can't believe that I am writing this.  I honestly think he is going to get traded to the Clippers...that would be fantastic!  I am a south Jersey boy who loves the Sixers and has met AI but chances are...if the Answer were to come to LA....I would be tempted to stay here...season tickets anyone?

There are a lot of problems in this world, and trust me, being traded isn't one of them.  He is still getting pizzzaidddd.  He has in the past though cost a lot of controversy over what he wears...which leads me to wonder...could he get away with wearing outfits from the BOHEMIAN SOCIETY?  Let's discuss...

Hey kids-

A wonderful start to the day...Missss Richie with a DUI.  I don't want to judge but her SUV was going the wrong way on the 134 Freeway in Burbank!

Strawberry Fields Forever

Hey all you cats and kittens-
